The 7th Asian High Security
Printing Conference incorporating the 3rd Asian Cash Handling Seminar will be held 11 - 13 November 2008, followed by an optional
tour of the new Bank Of Thailand Note Printing Works on 14 November 2008.
With attendance of 250+
word-wide attendees and featuring 50+ booth trade exhibition, the Asian
regional conference attracts senior level decision makers from
government organisations and leading suppliers. This is a first class
opportunity for meeting potential customers and suppliers relevant to the
continuously developing high security printing industry in this region.
The 2nd Cash
Handling Seminar at Hong Kong in 2007 was extremely successful and the 2008
High Security Printing Conference will again be preceded by a 1-day Cash
Handling Seminar. The traditional 2-day High Security Printing Conference
will then follow after.
7th Asian High
Security Printing Conference
Currency printing and e-documentation are constantly evolving with rapid
developments in production and usage. Currency printing and e-documentation are
constantly developing in production and usage and this conference looks at
regional developments and current issues in high security printing, e-Passports
and smart cards. The Security Printing Conference will be of interest to
organisations involved in note printing and high security printing, e-passport
production and supply, smart card manufacturers and suppliers and Government
organisations involved in cross-border security.
3rd Asian Cash Handling Seminar
The
demand for banknotes is rising and Central Banks are meeting this demand by
printing more. Central and commercial banks face new challenges because of
increased inflow of cash into their system. Physical cash handling within the
banking system is often overlooked and little information is available on cash
supply chain management. Different models of outsourcing have been adopted by
many Central and commercial Banks. Asia has the highest number of ATMs with more
cash withdrawn from ATMs than through bank counters.
Summary
The High Security Printing Conference is organised by Cross Conferences and the Asian Cash Handling Seminar are organised jointly by Tan Gark Teck of Fabriline Pte Ltd and Cross Conferences.
New, lower rates have been introduced for Central Banks, Note Printing Works and other Government organisations and can found under Delegate Fees.
Previous Conferences in the region were held in
Hong Kong (2007),
Kuala Lumpur (2006),
Hanoi (2005),
Jakarta (2004),
Shanghai (2003) and Bangkok (2002).
