A Call for Papers has now been issued for the 11th Asian, Middle East and African High Security Printing Conference. This is the only event of its kind to cover the rapidly-developing market in the region for government and high security documents, will cover the following topics:   

• Regional developments in document security
• Travel documentation technologies and features
• Printing and production technologies
• New developments in ID cards
• Fiscal stamps, breeder documents and licences
• Currency features and substates
• Anticounterfeiting, document verification and enforcement

The programme committee is now compiling the agenda for the conference, and is inviting proposals for presentations.

If you wish to be considered for inclusion on the agenda, please send a 200-word abstract of the proposed presentation by April 14 to the Conference Director, David Tidmarsh, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . 

Proposals are invited on substrates, security features, production and integration technologies, verification and market trends specific to currency,fiscal stamps, travel documentation, e-ID and related fields and should introduce new processes or technologies, or discuss current issues surrounding these fields. Overt commercial presentations will not be considered.

The conference will comprise two half-day seminars and a welcome cocktail reception on Monday, September 24, a full day's conference agenda followed by the conference dinner on Tuesday, September 25, and a further full day's conference agenda which ends with farewell drinks on Wednesday, September 26. An exhibition of the latest innovations in high security printing features and technologies  by around 30 companies will form part of the event.
